2nd Day - Getting Interesting!

Well, today is my second day on the June Master Cleanse and I must say that things are very interesting already. I have lots of symptoms of a mild viral thingy going on here- with aches and pains in my knees, slight chills, low level headache, a rash on hands and foot, tired and a huge amount of resistance in my body to doing this next part of the journey.

Of course, I have been doing this long enough to know that this resistance is from the virus itself that is under attack right now by my own body defenses and that it has been there for over 20 years - controlling me in lots of ways. Now, the tables have finally turned.

Experiencing Other Worlds

No matter what your beliefs, most of us would be aware that there is such a strong pull in us as human beings, a drawing in to other worlds, realms and dimensions. These I would call the spaces in-between - which exist inside of us as well as outside of us.

There is no better place to experience these other worlds than in the garden - with the fairies, gnomes and tree spirits. They are everywhere and I have been seeing them and listening to them for as long as I am here on this earth. I have so many pleasant memories of these beings throughout my life and the mystery has only deepened the more work that I do on myself.

Spend Your Time Wisely

I have been getting some work done in my herb garden these past few rainy days- in between showers and misty wetness, the weeds have been growing full force as if they have little else to do. Just grow and keep going.

It's funny how life is - these things that we equate with a nuisance and only want to get rid of, are so persistent in their presence and their roots go quite deep. The problem is that if we do not remove them from the garden they will take over and push out the herbs and plants that we want to grow there.

Has Anything Really Changed?

I have not paid that much attention to news for quite some time - and I find that I can not read anything for about a year or so, go back to look over a few headlines and ---- not one single thing has changed. In many instances not even the names are different. Yet we go on, day after day, sucking it all in and believing every word.

One day a long time ago now, I woke up (parts of me are waking up all the time) with regards to the 'news' and realized that when we are told day after day how bad things are, how high the murder rate is, how sensational a court case might be, how the banks have stolen all the money and there is not one thing anyone can do about it- it leaves us all feeling quite powerless.

Such is Life

It is now more than 2 weeks ago since I started and then 10 days later finished my Master Cleanse and of course, each day I am taking stock of how I feel, what has changed and the things that I am doing differently. The one thing that stands out the most for me at this moment is the fact that I am still so very careful of how much I am eating.

I do not want to feel that 'overfull' feeling in my stomach again, it is unpleasant for me and always has been. Small light meals, most of the time suit me better, I feel better, I function more efficiently and my digestion is smoother. My gut is working better (yet again) this time around and I really can feel the difference between before and after this cleanse.

Day 12 - Healthy Mind

This morning I feel good, I do not feel as empty as I did two days ago because there is food in my system now, so it is a different sense of clean. The important thing to remember at this stage of coming off of a Master Cleanse is to put clean fuel into your body - just as you would your car.

There is a lot going through my mind as well or maybe I could say that differently, there is a lot going on with my mind, as I can clearly see how fractured it was in places and the ways that it has come back together especially during these past few days.

It's that time of year again!

So, here we are in the middle of Bee season, the time of year that bees need to make a head start in their honey making. This is vital to the survival of these delicate species - sunny weather, a lot less rain, warm enough and plenty of flowers, trees and plants to forage for food.

One thing that I have noticed a lot more of is that we are putting in gardens in our backyards as well as creating allotments and other green spaces. If you would not ordinarily plant herbs, do it this year - for the bees. You will also gain benefits from a crop of fresh herbs growing close by as well.

Food Revolution - say it again!!

I posted this earlier, but want to post it again as people are led to feel that they are powerless to make fundamental changes to their diets. You are not powerless and you can make any change you want- with healthy results!

Food Revolution

For those of us who are watching and supporting the many revolutions that are taking place around the planet but are unable to physically be there- there is so much else that can be done. And perhaps even more important work that must be done to start to break down these monopolies who control our money, economies, food, water, media, and ultimately our minds.

This may sound strange, but what if....

What if all of these flus and bugs that go around from person to person over the winter months, actually serve a purpose? I know, how on earth could I possibly reach that conclusion! How awful it is to get a bug and be down with it for a few days - and to miss work and be so unproductive.

What if these flus and bugs primed out immune function in a myriad of ways sort of like taking the fancy car out of the garage once in a while and taking it for a spin. But I know, the argument would be that it is not healthy to be sick! And again why spend a few days with some down time when we could be up and at 'em ALL the time.
